I first saw Art Contest as a two piece with Cole Monroe (guitar/vocals) and Garrett Burke (drums) at Graveface Records in Savannah, GA 2014, and was immediately hooked. Since then I have seen the project several times in many different places and many forms. Their constantly evolving sound yet consistently addicting rhythms and riffs never fail to amaze me. When I had a radio show in Savannah called The Abyss I probably played them the most out of any band! This podcast features Cole Monroe (vocals/synth), Sam Wilson (guitar), Jordan Holiman (drums), and Shane Perryman (bass) talking about weird time signatures, future plans for the band, the diy music scene in GA, and moooore!!
